Daniels tells the story of her Jewish Grandmother Edith who emigrated from Romania to England in 1906 when she was eight years old. During the making of the film Edith dies, just after her 100th birthday and Daniels reflects on her life and the devastating affect this seemingly benign old lady had on her family.
